water lines on a turbo

:
2003 Mazdaspeed Protege NR2052
where would you tap into the coolant system for a water cooled turbocharger? The supply and return? Or would you run a tank/pump recirc setup independent of the car coolant system? Thanks ahead of time. The turbo is a gt25 if that matters.
thanks,
tim

come by and take a look at my setup some time. that hose on the water block where you coolant temp sensor is at on the driver's side of the head is a good spot.

As long as we're talking about this, anyone know what type/size banjo fittings I would need for my IHI turbo?

I didn't think IHI turbos were water cooled. Which one is it?(ex. VF22)

thanks for the quick response everyone. that attachment looks like it answered this haunting question for me.

I had posted a while back on this, looks like a good setup. I was gonna goth with just not cooling the intake manifold and just run those lines just for the turbo. But now i might just do this setup.

that's a good point, taking the lines off of your throttle body would be a good way to do it, if they have enough pressure. I'ev also seen it done by tapping into the heaterlines. This isn't as accessible if the motor is still in the car, though.
