i have searched...and i still dont know what a wastegate actuator does, or when the wastgate is of need of replacement...thanks for all the info.. i wanna learn all i can about this car..thanks
awesome thanks a lot...well im having trouble with my msp...when i full throttle, it gives me my 9psi that i have set, when i shift, to thrid, it doesnt want to give me power, its like i have to start over again(it doesnt like bogg down, it seems like it wont keep the car full power when shifting).....i hope this makes sense..and i was thinking maybe its the wastegate...but it still gives me my 9psi...
it just started doing this...and i do have a boost guage, so i dont see a vac leak...(if thats how you can tell if there is a boost leak)....its a stock turbo...my upgrades are: highboost FMIC, greddy profec-b boost controller, injn cold air intake, aem air to fuel ratio wideband, and boost gauge....for the wastegate, i dont know if its aftermarket. i just bought this car a couple wks ago.....but it has been cold here latly....but there is one thing i do notice that it does sometimes, is that if im full throttle it, before i shift, it just feels like i let my foot slip off the gas pedal, and pops real hard, i have know idea what that can be...but it dont do it everyday....any clue?
Fuel Cut my friend..Search Fuel cut...Its cold and it sounds like your boosting higher than stock..Your hitting Fuel cut..but there is one thing i do notice that it does sometimes, is that if im full throttle it, before i shift, it just feels like i let my foot slip off the gas pedal, and pops real hard, i have know idea what that can be...but it dont do it everyday....any clue?
