Didn't somebody (I think AEM) come up with a little flapper valve that would prevent hydrolock on CAIs? It was a spring loaded flapper that would stay shut under normal operation but as soon as the filter becomes submerged, the vacuum produced in the tubing would open the flapper allowing air to rush in above the filter, preventing it from sucking up the water. Similar to what happens when you crack a straw on your slurpee at 7-11 and you can't get that yumminess down fast enough![]()

This is not what I was talking about but this is for N/A cars. I could have sworn I saw a flapper type device before but I can't find it. Oh well, I live in sunny southern california so what do I carej/k
