Is there any "industry" around Shenendoah??? Hopefully you'll find something decent, soon.
Are you renting your house out???

Theres some industry round here. Hopeing to get a job with Pella windows. Markets kinda slim around here. I would like to start a detailing and graphics business but no funds to get that started with. I have a place to detail but no funds for equipment and not really sure how to drum up business in this small town.Red Zeppelin said:Is there any "industry" around Shenendoah??? I hear ya. Thankyou for the support. Whats weird is that, when I got out of the Army in Oct97, to be with my ex-wife, my life has been on a slow downward spiral it seems. The only thing that I can recall being a positive thing is Stacy. I have to girls that I love to death but I don't get to see them since m ex moved to Oklahoma. Calling them is hit and miss and when I send gifts for them they end up broken. Kinda sucks and is depressing. THe brights spots in the darkenss is stacy being pregnant( though I didn't want to bring a child intot he world in this situation, I also wanted to be married) and that starting of this club. I am excited about it and wish I had more to offer and could do more to get things going.Red Zeppelin said:I know---a few years ago I had a couple really down years. Never thought then that things would get better---but they did. (That's when I had my POS '89 Aries...now THAT was a nice car!!) The floor of the truck had a big hole in it where it rusted out!
THat's why I love Zelda so much---she's a symbol of how my life has turned around!
Hang in there-----it WILL get better!
I did my 8 years and its been over 7 years since I have been out. Not to worried about it since I know I couldn't pass a physical. If they want to call me back I would go serve my country again. I am supposed to have them for a few weeks. But this requires money for me to go get them and my ex would make it as hard as possible.Red Zeppelin said:You may get called back to the Army whether you want to go back in or not.
Did you have 8 years in??? SOunds like if you didn't, and it's been under 10 years, they're going to start calling folks back to service.
Do you get the girls for part of the summer??
Well, you should be safe from the Army, then!MSP5 said:I did my 8 years and its been over 7 years since I have been out. Not to worried about it since I know I couldn't pass a physical. The funny thing is she said she wouldn't do that if we ever split up. I not only blame her but her mom. Her mom doesn't like me at all and will do anythign to make my life miserable, even if it hurts my girls. They are 6 and 4. There growing up so fast. I cant tell you this, my ex is going to hate when she finds out my fiance is pregnant. Its all my girls ar gonna talk about. The funy thing is my girls love stacy so much and my ex hates it.Red Zeppelin said:Well, you should be safe from the Army, then!
That sucks if your ex isn't cooperative with your visitation. --if they only realized that they are hurting the kids by denying them the right to have two parents. I guess some people will just do anything to keep hurting that ex-spouse. It's sad. How old are your girls?
Ryan, we'll be in town around noonish. I'll give ya a call then, OK. Any luck finding the shifter?MazdaManic5 said:Appreciate the kind words. It was my pleasure to help. I love turning wrenches and i love to help, so if anyone needs a hand look me up.

Well it sounds like a bad situation that turned out for the best. Good thing is you got your car back ( did Wooghouse fix it?) and everything is all done. Best part is that you like all the parts.TomAss_Z said:Sorry MSP5, i got tied up in all of the bulls*** of having to deal with my stuff being on back order and getting time in the shop set up. I also had to deal with my car being stuck at woodhouse mazda for four days when i should have gotten it back in one day. They said to bring my car in thur night so that they could do the work b4 the weekend and have it back to me in a day. bulls***, they kept the damn thing through the weekend into Monday AND TUESDAY. So here i am sitting on all of my parts with no car. Then, on tues i finally get my car back and i go over to my buddy's shop and attempt to get the exhaust situation organized. I finally realized that i had left the gaskets and bolts that came with the GReddy system IN THE RENTAL VEHICLE!!!!!!! So i went and drove around to all of the enterprise rentacar places searching for this rental i had. It was after 6 o'clock and enterprise was closed. I finally called the roadside assist and told that guy what was going on. He basically told me that i was screwed.
So i go back down to woodhouse and behold......the rental is sitting in the back of the lot. I go up to it to find my parts sitting right there in the rental. Luckily the doors were all unlocked and i finally got my s*** back.
