Want to ditch the mazdaspeed and protege logos on back

Well, I kinda just want to get rid of both of these.
i know it might leave a few small holes in the trunk.
Has anyone done this? I live near chicago, so the weather blows.
I dont want this brand new car to get rusty.
also i heard removing these badges gives at least 40+ horse.

I'd do it if I had the extra dough. You should leave the mazdaspeed badge on though. I like the looks of it.

I think the Protege and mazdaspeed badges are just stuck on with some sticky adhesive that you need to get some kind of special remover to take all the residue off of your trunk. There will be holes if you remove the Mazda emblem. I think it looks cleaner with just the Mazda emblem, and when I have time, I'm going to take those ones off.

as for the holes, im almost positive, the protege badge leaves 2 holes.
i just dont have the $$$ to get the damn trunk repainted.,
Maybe ill just get some touch up paint and paint small rubber inlets to jam in the holes...

Hey guys i would flip out for a US Protege badge have been trying to get one from the states for mouths but i think it is a too small of a order for anybody to give a s*** about but its a big deal to me.
I would love to replace my 323protege one to be diffrent to all the other protege around so can anybody help me out will swop or buy easy to send a badge just us air mail it
