Waiting for Dec. Promotions

Mazda site, took off all the promotions which ended in November. They are saying check back for December promotions. I hope there is something robust, especially on the 06,s which seem to be quite a bit in my area just sitting there.
I called up two dealers, and they dont know as of yet the promotions, and said to check with them tomorrow.
They got to be itcy at this point to get rid of all the 06,s, especially since there is not change on the 07,s and winter is fast approaching.

Stay safe

I was just now on the phone with Mazda headquarters down in Irvine (puttin' them on the hunt for an '06 Touring AT for me, tee hee!), and the guy I talked to says they are extending the $1000 MAC financing incentive that, apparently, didn't actually end yesterday after all. This appears to be the only offer -- even with it now being December/end of year!

Mazda certainly is a tough-nut manufacturer in this respect, huh? oh well...gotta love what you can get for the $$$ anyway.

Thanks. There are approximately 26 2006 touring automatics within about a 15 miles radius of me. If you lived here you would have no problem finding one. Good luck

The deals just went up on Mazda site today...

The 5 in Chicago Metro has the following lease deal:
$249/Month, 24-Month Lease, $3,094 due at Lease Signing after $500 cash back. Includes 1st Month's Payment, Security Deposit and Acquisition Fee. Excludes taxes, title and fees. **

All deals here: http://www.mazdausa.com/MusaWeb/displayRegionalIncentivesPopup.action

Please post up what kind of deal you net down to and we can compare deals?!?

My area is showing practically the same. Sale on 2006 have 1000 rebate, if financed at ridiculous rates.
So much for hoping for something better.

Yeah their rates are for someone w/no credit and a GED I think?

But notice that the $3K includes the first month payment, sec dep, and acq fee whatever those add up to? But don't forget tax title and license....

Only $10 more for a CX-7 a month with a lower down payment, no security deposit required and no $500 rebate included = Mazda is holding a higher res. value on the CX-7 rather they are not trying to boost the resale value for the 5

I am intrested to go into the dealer and get the specifics on how the 3K breaks down because if that includes after a $500 cash back and first month's payment that is a down payment/aqu fee/sec. dep. = 2250

+ the 8.75 IL state and 1% Cook County tax the payment will be closer to 275.

I was hoping they were supporting the car better because I like it better than the CX-7...maybe getting that or a Forester unless this deal works out better than listed.

I feel like I am buying another Legacy...talk about a car not supported by the manufacturer!

Automatic? Is the car for your wife or girlfriend?

Wellll, I'm not married so I'm nobody's wife; and I'm not currently any guy's girlfriend...tho my new 5 (see my other post with first pics) may attract the guys even more, even as an automatic, ha ha!

Cheers!

nothing wrong with Automatics. I drove a stick for years (3 series, and Eclipse turbo)and had fun with them but that got so old. When i get my new beamer in a few years i may reconsider a manny, but for now Auto is perfect. Besides, being stuck on the 5 fwy with a manny is pure hell.
