what are those 3 little vertical pieces of the bumper that cover up the fmic when grill is removed?? I seen people cut em out and it looks 10x cleaner...

also, i searched all over the damn place: what size the is the wagner core? brand?

I would not remove the front grill. I would not want my FMIC get hit by a rock or someone kick it.

rocks can get through your stock grill also....just not bigass rocks. Not really sure how a rock big enough to get through the stock grill would be coming at your car in the 1st place though, unless you rally your car or something like that.

When I get my FMIC I might even put a wire mesh on the grill to help protect it. I don't need everyone to see I have a FMIC either.

it was a new bumper. i have those vertical things shaved off now. i will locate a pic of the car without them.

i decided recently, to put on the lower grill again, just to hopefully stop rocks from beating on my beloved fmic. maybe if i attached wire mesh to the back of the stock lower grill.. hmm.. we'll see. you can still see the intercooler with the grill over it.

it's a spearco core. i wrote down the dimensions, but forgot them. it's like 4" deep.
