I like the chrome on the dark blue. I cut a larger M emblem, like the one off the front and painted it gunmetal. That's mounted on my rear. I'm pretty happy with it. I've seen the Mazda painted gunmetal and that looks great also

Here is my emblem from when my tail lights were black

Looking for a cheap fix til then, I popped my sheild off and painted it low gloss black. cost $6 for the can.

sorry for the crappy quality. The dull paint on the bottom of the shield is an effect of heat over time. Still looks good though

it does look good but the bolts on mine are too rusty so im just ganna rip it off when i buy my headers

My bolts are super rusty, After installing the shield with the rusty bolts, I sprayed the bolt heads to cover them up. My shield is rusting through at the bottom. This is until I buy headers, but I'm in no hurry

Ok so im about to roll my fenders this weekend to get ready for the new wheels. Best way to roll with an legit fender roller. Iv seen people use pvc pipe any tips and tricks?

thanks ^... i was cleanin up my toolbox and found an extra badge so i went ahead and messed with it, and im in process of debadging the hatch

agggh! don't debadge!
I tried and failed.. I'm gonna try and keep people from the same mistake.
maybe you have a better way (I hope), I put tape on the back, bondo-ed it, siliconed the back when it was dry. then sanded the bondo and paint penned the bondo.
I can still see the holes, as the touch up paint doesn't exactly match the car's 10 year old paint.

Well what I already started was takin the badges off and I found small plugs and im goin to use touch up paint to color match

oi. I guess we'll see how it goes. I broke my badges taking them off, hope you didn't do the same lol.
I'd recommend sealing the back of them plugs too, the plastic pulls off the back of the hatch with just a decent amount of force..
