Well, call me stupid as the last time I took vinyl off, i gouged my paint. Anyone got suggestions on vinyl removal?especially in the cold?

I was thinking of using a hair dryer on low setting to heat them up a bit. Any ideas ?

Hair dryer to soften the glue. I usually just use my finger nail to bring an corner up. Then with the glue being soft you can usually get the whole chunk off if it hasn't been on for too long.

Then for residue left behind use a product called Goof Off Citrus. It MUST BE CITRUS! You can buy it at the home improvement department of any store. I've used that stuff for years for paint.

I used it when removing the door trim's left over double sided tape and it took about 30 minutes for both sides
