Vibrant exhaust impression

Anybody here got Vibrant exhaust? How's the sound? is it sleeper low tone growl? or ricer can-like rattle? I'm considering it along with GHL exhaust, but I'm still undecided. Which one is better?

funny you should ask, because the vibrant system was just installed today on my m3. i ordered it by phone from "never enough", found on-line. 595$ shipped plus a 70 $ install fee. great customer service, they fed-exed in 3 days! for no extra charge. very pleased with the service from them. a nice sleeper tone, no rice. its loud if you punch it but i still can hear my music and talk in the car. very deep, you will smile when you start it. its better with the windows down. i can barly hear it over 60 mph which is nice. i do not know a thing about GHL. there is a sound clip of a vibrant drive away on this forum. thats what sold me. oh yeah, the tip is big and shinny and fills out the hole very nicely. hope that helped, good luck man i know its a big decision...

What I didn't realize about the Vibrant system, is that it's a downpipe back system with a cat, which means it takes the place of the oem mid-pipe back. SO, you could get this system and a DP and have a full TBE, sweet!

jphilly, that seems like a good price for sure.
Have you noticed any smoking issues after the install?

jphilly, nice review, thanks a lot. Now it's more of a contender after hearing all that. What store is it again? it's called "never enough"? can i have the website please. I'm thinkin of installin it myself, do I need to cut off any of the stock ms3 exhaust system to get it off? I'm gonna look for that vid of vibrant cause i cant find it on youtube. thanks a lot.

I have had it mine its the best on the market always get comments at the track best sounding car their. Go For IT.

I love it, havn't looked back on it the first day, its J-pipe back so it's not really full Turboback. but its about as close as you can get and it really dont make much of a difference, GHL is full turbo back but is much much more expensive for no real reason, plus I think the vibrant sounds just as good if not better, i my opinion, GHL is a little expensive for a whoping 3whp difference. anyways, I highly suggest the vibrant! and like Packerfan said, I've had alot of comments on it. I might be selling mine If I end up striping the car to stock, only another few weeks will tell. let me know if your interest tho.

i delted my 2 resiantors and straight thru muffler(resinator) for 100 bucks its sounds awsome when i floor it, but i can still here my music and with the windowns up its just about unnoticable

what is a DP and a TBE? yeah it smokes a little after running it hot and it smells funny too but I take it as just a break in period.

thanks philly
DP = Down Pipe
TBE = Turbo Back Exhaust

How would you guys compare the sound to stock: at idle, highway, full throttle, etc?

gottcha...

with vibrant:
idle- nice smooth tone, louder with ac running
highway- constant mid-range tone, wish it was louder so people could hear me pass by but maybe they can and I just dont know it
full throttle- turns heads

with stock:...nothing...

oh you guys are talkin about mazda 3 vibrant exhaust. I'm inquiring about their mazdaspeed 3 vibrant exhaust. But I heard the vid clip and it very good. Sounds like wrx a little bit. I like that. Maxxpwr, GHL dont have turbo back. I actually called them and they said they dont make turbo back for ms3, but they said it's compatible with any test pipe and down pipe out there. I like the way vibrant angles out at the tip. GHL has no angle. I like to turn heads soon, cause driving in my ms3 i dont get attention at all. I look at people as i pass by and they never look at my car. I never got revved on by another driver. I'm always the one starting it with a stock growl. hehe

oh, Im sorry I thought you were refering to msp stuff. GHL for msp is turbo back. sorry I dont know much then. but I will say vibrant is what I've been happy with on my msp, I could only imagine they make a fine product for a ms3 as well. good luck.

Anyone with ms3 and had put on a vibrant downpipe-back exhaust reading this thread please let us know ur impression of the vibrant exhaust. I'm now leanin towards GHL again, but vibrant have a test pipe included already with a bung hole for your a/f gauge of ur choice. So I still dont know what to get. Primarily it's the drone-free nature of GHL and vibrant (sort of) that draws me to both of them. The others...they're too loud for me. I dont want any attentions from the cops
