Just got an '09 GT w/ nav that I'm thrilled with besides the nav. I had been using a portable Garmin with 3d view which I find so much better.
Anyway, I'm thinking of mounting an ipod on the silvery section to the left of the gear knob using removable velcro tape. Is this a bad idea? There doesn't seem to be any good ipod adapter available otherwise I'd just use that since I'd love to be able to control it via the steering wheel controls. Thanks.
