I went to the hospital on Wednesday( Sister was in the ER) Valeted the damn car and gut smoked the clutch, I watched him pop the BPV and floor the car turning and coming up the a hill( Back to where I was with the wife). Hell she was even like What's that smell?" Um that's the Clutch.. Will they pay??? I just called and complained..??? It has been slipping the last two days and still smell clutch dust and pedal is EH at best, I just Called them this AM to see what's going to happen..(sick)

unless they have surveillence video of the guy driving your car like an asshat (preferrably with audio so they can hear him revving the s*** outa it) im afraid you are ******

That sucks big time dude.. I would call the security of the parking garage and see if there is video surveillance, unlikely it will have audio but it might show something.

Other than that, 8.5MS3 is right.

I used to be a valet and in his defense he may have just gotten out of an old F250 that took a massive amount of effort on the pedals. Sometimes it takes a minute to calibrate to a different car and when you're a valet you're in a car for 30 seconds to a minute. That being said he have just been a douchebag. I don't valet my cars at all. Sometimes a perfect well meaning valet will over-rev, stall, or massively slip the clutch. Sometimes they look at our cars as opportunities for fun. Either way I can park and walk.

also, even if they have surveillence. i doubt they keep it that long. usually it just overwrites the tape every 24 hrs or so. If you went back the next morning you would have had a better shot. Any witnesses other than your wife?

I'm not sure about video but I stood there and watched the whole thing. My wife even walked out side as was like what smells, Right in front of him..Thanx for all the support, LOL- I hope they do something..

Was going to but was a little stressed out as it was, Sister had emergency surgery and I was not in the mod.. Probably would have done more harm than good. Was not in the right frame of mind,. May have hit him,, LOL

Go back and stick your foot up his ass. Tell him since your clutch is slipping, your foot must have slipped up his ass.

My buddy came up with a good idea, If they give me hard time , Should go back when the same guys is working throw him the keys in front of his boss and ask him to drive it to the lot and back( You can see the lot where they park from the hospital).

If not the foot slipping, I will try. LOL :)

no because he wont drive like a douche with the boss in front. what you need to do is put a camera in the car next time u valet it, with a microphone

I used to move/ cars also, And never had issues with clutchs, All hi end cars..
Trust me a would have parked and walked but everything there is only 2hr Parking, I was there 9 HRS.. The over the limit ticket is $25 and they can hit you twice, So $50. Yea less than a clutch job but who the hell thinks a guy, Not a young kid that does this for a living has no FN clue what they are doing.

Funny cause I was actualy going to video tap him driving the car with my phone just for fun,, Wanted to hear what my car sounds like, Werid.. Now I wish I DID(direct)

sux. probably can't do much about it at this point.

similar story, was at the car wash, and the guy needs to drive my car like 15 feet from where I get out, til where they take it in. he stalled it not once but twice. wtf moment of course.

They reported it to their INS company Safty INS this morning and said someone will be on touch in 2 days at the lastest. Not sure what Safty is going to do cause this was not an auto accident,, He did not hit anything just can't drive.

He if had stalled it there would be no issue, BUT to FN ride the clutch the whole way and have it floored (shocked)
