well i was going to do stuff to my P5 but another machine took me over... R6, so now i need to save the GREEN STUFF for that . but it will be faster then ANY protege i know of

Where in Utah are you guys from. I grew up in SLC. I'll be back there visiting sooner or later and and I was hoping to find some protege guys to meet up with.

I grew up in MA and NY. I've lived in Utah for four years now, most of them in SLC. I'll be moving back East when I finish school in a year or so.

Let me know when you're coming out and we'll get together for a drive somewhere.

47th S and 40th W. My wife and I are remodeling a condo there. By the time we have it all done we'll be ready to move!

Yes, I go to the U. The drive up there every morning is pretty crazy. I usually drive my Civic. It's a 1983 1500 DX that originally had 76 hp. I figure I'm probably getting somewhere around 60 to the wheels with drivetrain loss and altitude loss. But it's sure fun trying to keep up with everybody else!

Do you take 215? If so I know what you mean. Last time I was home I was driving my 2000 Civic Dx and people were flying by me at 90. One thing never changes though....People in Utah can't drive!

I usually take I-215 to I-80, then head East until 13th E to get to the U. They've changed a lot of I-215 recently, expanding the lanes and improving the surface... I wish I could rent the whole loop for a day and take some laps.

i live at the bottom of big cottonwood canyon, and zooooooomzooooom lives like a block away from me, i see his car every day sense i drive by his house like 100 a day.
oh and that reminds me, jeff where are ur rims? havent seen them on ur car yeat. and have u seen that silver supra by ur house, its soooooo sexyyy

OMG that silver Supra and the hopefully soon-to-be awesome MR2. I've seen both of them. And are you getting that bullet bike? But keeping your P5 too? OH and those damn rims were supposed to be here friday, but nothing, then saturday nothing, and i better get them today, or i'm going to raise hell with wheelmax.

Im going to keep my MP5, becouse bad weather and bikes dont mix. and im trying to find a way for me to get a bike... if my job works out how its supose to ill be driving a bike by the begining of aug!! WOOOOT WOOOOOT.

Haha maybe if we can't get them on my car. You should just order the whole short shifter combo though. The throw is a lot shorter and its a very easy install. Do you still want to get together friday and do some work on our cars?

Are you going to pull your bumper and stuff off earlier friday afternoon so we can get everything done before your parents get home? I have a buttload of stuff coming for my car. I have gauges, springs, rims. as of right now. I'm wasting all my money that i saved for my turbo!! I better start saving again huh.

lol, i can help u do the springs as long as u get the spring compressor, air wrench, and food... ill help u put ur springs on. o yeah and the instruction manual, it takes like 3-4 hrs to do. also are u gitting struts? if not u should get some for sure. Aftermarket springs dont work to good on stock struts, the stock strut cant rebound fast enouf so ur car will have ALLLLLLOT of body role.
and im not sure yeat on doing my stuff on friday, im gitting my bumper painted tomorrow, and i dont want the bumper touchig the ground for a little, if u know what i mean. but we can still do ur bushings if u want?
and i always see ur car at ur house? do u car pool to work or what? i just saw it there like 30min ago.

Yeah i carpool to work, saves me gas money I am getting struts eventually, i was going to get Tokico adjustables, but they stopped making them for our car. And because i had to get new rims i can't afford them yet anyways. We can do my bushings. and i think i might just have hillside do my springs, they are really good. I was thinking about the MP3 stuff, but i don't have that much money, and i want a turbo first.

just go to modern garadge or something. hillside tire sucks in my opinion but i dont realy know of another place u can go.
also have you seen that red 300Z TT around ur neghborhood(sp?). becouse that is my friends dads car and i got to drive it like 2 days ago, and OMG that car gives me a...

I know a kid who works at hillside, and they've always given me great service. Like when i crashed my car. They did all the work and i ended up only payin $60 to get my car back. Now i just need the rims.. that are never coming... and my springs. I'll go price places around, see how much it would cost.

damb u are on hear pritty late, its almost 2am, but im on hear as well so its all good!
well i have just been looking at diff. options today for the MP5. and im thinking of going NA. FI is cool and all but NA is power on demand, none of this turbo lag s***...LOL. also u still have to give me a ride in ur car, i want to see the diff. w/ and w/o a CAI.

Heh, i thought about going NA for a while, but then i decided that i would spend just as much doing that as i would buying a turbo. I'm sorta looking at perfworks turbo right now, i've been talking to him and depending on price it might be best for me. And yeah i paid for being on there til 2 because i was late to work... But oh well, i'll be here for a while today cause my dad has a meeting and can't pick me up til 5:30 almost. And I still don't have my damn rims!!
