Using the rear doors

I am thinking about putting some speakers in the rear doors. I heard that there are 6x8 inserts in the rear doors. What do you guys think?

I just had the panel off the other day to fix my door lock actuator, I think the hole was round for like a 6 1/2 but I could be on glue

3rd gen cars have 6" openings but most 6.5" speakers fit fine. Mazda3s have 6x8 rear speakers.

What do I think? I think you should spend money on upgrading front speakers and giving them power from an external amp.

Nope, but most basic coaxial speakers will fit.

yeah ill 2nd this im also intrested
how would they wire up to an amp/HU? cos atm iv already got
2 in front and 2 in rear shelf wired up to a 4 channel
but if there was room in the roof id put some there too lol
