Used Xbox console??

Anyone know where I can buy a used functional xbox console..just the console..no wires..no remotes...well they can have them too but I don't need them.
 
Yeah i found a sweet one on ebay a samsung dvd drive so it took a bit of looking but i got it, or if your old one works and you get errors they sell new dvd drives for them.

problem is that I have a modded one. It works fine but I heard they are banning modded xbox on live. So I will buy another xbox console to use with the games I buy for xbox live.
 
Oh yeah I do the same one of my friends got banned for it. he has one the the upgraded hardrive modded eveything craziness You should be able to find a good one on ebay no prob. It took me a while cause i wanted the samsung but i know there were a ton of regular thompson drive ones and most don't know the diff some were still new Good luck

They progress the majority of Xbox's being Thompson models they tend to have a shorter "life" span thhan the other two I forget the % of xbox that are thompson something like and don't quote me on this like 60% thompson 30% Phillips and 10% samsung. the phillips drive can read more typs of disks like drw's etc... fatser load times than thompson etc.. and the samsung having faster load times than the other two and lasts alot longer and can read all typ of cd's and such

these drives are notorious for being unable to read most CDR media, and are generally regarded as the worst drives in terms of the variety of media that they can read.

Philips

The consensus seems to be that these drives can read more disc formats than the Thomson drives but not as many as the Samsung.

Samsung

This drive is widely regarded as being the drive that reads the greatest variety of media.
 
With out opening the case, how can you tell what drive you got?
