Used Tires for Track and Auto-X

Have some tires that I need to move and I will offer them to you guys first. I have a 2 sets of Hoosiers R-100 235/40/17
$200 for all 8.

The tires are are in good condition, tread no where near the wear indicators. You can ask Evan or Ivan about the condition of my tires.

I will post up pics later of my tire warehouse later today.

You can have a set of 4 for $100, not a problem at all. The have 5 heat cycles on them and they still have a massive amount of grip left on them

It's generally not a good idea to jump right to R compound tires. I really would like to get these since they are so cheap but I feel it would be better to continue learning on a sticky street tire, first. You may end up hurting your ability to learn the car. Just some food for thought.

I have been told that but these are cheaper than sticky street tires and I can't afford a good set so I will get these and try my best to pay attention to what the car is telling me being there is not going to be any auditable feedback from the tires. I just can't pass up this price

I am not advocating using the R Comps for al of you new to auto-x or HPDE. It is nice to have them in reserve, when you feel comfortable enough to go to them after you gain experience.

I got them from Eric Meyer who ran them on his RX8 when running PTD in a couple of NASA Events...He gave me a few sets, when he shut down his operation. I sold Ivan a set and I kept a set and I have two unmounted sets and Lauri wants more room in the garage. So why not help put pur friends and family.
