Upgrading interior lights to LEDs

The only thing I wish this car had, my Accord had a dim LED light that was barely visible at night that illuminated the center console at night.
My Signature has that dim console light... Do other trims not have it?

Haha...yes. I rarely, if ever, use my vanity mirrors. Had a date use them once and was not a fan of the harsh white bright LEDs. I stopped replacing them in cars after that. In fairness...they can be blindingly bright!

My 16.5 sport doesnt have that. I had an Accord too.

That dim light is very useful because it doesn't distract like the bright light.

The Sig has some interior design differences, although I could find no specific reference to a console light.

My 2019 Reserve has no console light.

Today I installed LED lights in the interior: four dome reading lights, two visor vanity mirror lights and one rear door light. They look GREAT! They also retained the FADE feature of the dome lights.

I couldn't figure out how to open up the dome light console to check the type of bulb so thank you. But for the replacement... Do I start with the two screws revealed by the sunglasses holder? Thanks

Hey there I am thinking about using the led interior lights DE3175 that you linked but how is it so far any issues?

I really want the lights FADE on when the doors unlock and FADE off when doors are locked.

Also does the led lights turn completely off AFTER they fade off?

Oh yeah some people says on the 2nd gen 2017-2021 cx-5 interior bulb length are 29mm so shall I get these or stick to 31mm: https://www.amazon.com/dp/ (commissions earned)

You want the ultra bright blue-white lights?

The leds I have do turn off completely and they also fade, it's a function of the circuit.

I have Parchment interior (white) so 5000k color temperature should be good. Along with FADE and turns off completely.

I ordered the 31mm and can say they are too long for the map light and cargo light. The dome light fit is tight but acceptable. I plan to return the 31mm and order the 29mm.

Update: I received and installed the 29mm LEDs and they fit perfectly. They are very bright. I find the 6000K color a little harsh but I'm comparing them to the yellowish OE bulbs.
