Upgrade Spark plugs/wires?

so basically the plugs sit farther down in the combustion chamber? Whould these plugs still work if I wanted to bump up the compression down the road? or would there be a danger of the piston hitting the longer reach plugs.

Well, I ran to checker auto last night and installed the longer plugs. Cost me $8.43 after tax, and this may be the best bang for buck upgrade. It's got me convinced so far. It realy smooths out the drop in idle and bucking/lurching you get at low speed in 1st/reverse. Now I can move in these gears without hitting the throttle.

I bought these plugs at NAPA on Sunday. Noticed an immediate difference in idle. Much smoother acceleration and transition between shifts. Got my K&N drop-in filter today. $29.00 w/no shipping from CarDomain store and they sent it FedEx. Got it in one day.

Can't wait to try it out in the morning on the way to work...(eekdance)

In the original link, it says that these are the plugs used on the j-spec pros. Those cars come with higher compression pistons, so I think these would still work, but you'd definately want to check into that before damaging your pistons.

Please don't tell me you ordered it from ROTO. I went there 3 times just to order touch up paint and never got it. Every time they said they would call me when they got it, NEVER got a phonecall from them. And the first 2 times I went to check on the order, NOTHING!!! They said they never even got an order from me.(braindead Hope you have better luck then I did

yah, ROTO. I've had bad experiences with ROTO on a car sale that never happened and i had to jump through tons of hoops to get my deposit $ back from them. They are lucky that they are getting my business for parts, but never for a car.
