Really? Wider wheels go on the drive wheels, since this car isn't RWD why would you put them back there? Why not just go 18x9 all the way around. Anyone who knows anything about cars in general is going to laugh when they see a FWD Mazda with 275s on the back and 255s in the front.

lol ok mister wheel police. i didnt go 18x9 because its been done before and ive been wanting to see if x10's could fit on this car plus these wheels are pretty rare. even more rare than my previous advans so whatever fitment it came in, im gonna snatch it up. lol you apparently know a lot about cars but dont know anything about style and what im trying to accomplish with this car.

listen to mr 12 post here...lol. He doesnt track the car, so whats the big deal. Its all about the look, and thats what he likes. Its a personal choice. Get out of that 90s mentality and progress with the times.(stooges)

also.....your guesses at tire size are way off

My guess is there will be a 225/40 on the front end and 235/40 on the rear.

I wasn't a big fan of the Advans until they were on the car so I'll reserve judgment until these are mounted.

thanks! yea hopefully this setup wont give me too much of a problem. i know with any new setup, it might take some work to get it adjusted to the car but im not expecting too much of a hassle.

yup thats correct. but it shouldnt be too crazy of a stretch. its only a half inch more than my advan setup all around. itll moderate at most. should look something like this:

this is a 225/40/18 on a x10.5. mine is a 215/40/18 on a 10. same brand same model tire. my fronts should be super mildly stretched. :booo:

lol well im calling it quits on 1 wheel as it looks decent enough (need to put more time in other wheels). the 2nd wheels is 90-95% done. just need to remove some little specs of stubborn paint but it should come off in the buffing phase. 3rd wheel is like 65-70% done. 4th wheel is 35% done. just started on it today and cold weather is making my paint stripper suck. working on it again tomorrow. and hopefully getting my tires back this week so if all goes well itll be on by next weekend! maybe...

thats like asking why do people like apples. why do people like this type of shoe. why do these people like this kind of wheel and not the other. why do people like this color.

its just another preference of people who like to modify their cars. its their style. its what they like. i think a lot of people's cars on here look like ass with their wheels and certain painted parts. but thats just their preference. and theyre happy with it. they do it because they like it. and im fine with that. modding cars is just a big melting pot of styles. the car is like the painter's canvas. its art and whatever you dont like about it, other people favor it. without people going according to their tastes, modifying cars would be boring. it would be like if everyone had stock cars. we need diversity of styles.

and if you have to ask why, then you just dont understand it.

lol what a hater. it IS functional, imo it looks super aggressive, and theres nothing stupid about it. i just like that look over the sunken battleship look that other people and probably you rock. its just my style and its fine if you think its ugly but keep the hate out of my thread.

if by functional you mean increasing the scrub radius, torque steer, and un-sprung weight while rubbing tires on the the cars sheet metal all to have a certain look, and less money in your bank account then yes that is quite functional
