Guys, this thread will stay on topic. We are NOT gonna debate admin/supermod decsions here! Let Matty and Dave bring Supercharger info. We don't need to clutter this thread.

^ most retarded post ever. Did you not even read any of the section about the AC? Matty has explained until he's blue in the face about the AC. Also, we live in Alabama and it's mighty hot here and if we can ride around without AC and not cry about it I don't see why anyone else looking for performance couldn't. It's not as bad as you think. The first time you hit the pedal and feel it put you back in the seat you forget all about it.

p.s. anyone who has to have sex in their car is a kid and 1. either shouldn't be having sex in the first place or 2. still lives at home with mom and can't afford a supercharger anyway.
If your really looking for performance, you should dedicate ur car as a track car. To me a daily driver without AC is unacceptable. I mean in the winter, if you have no heat, wear more clothes, problem solved. Now in the summer, smoldering and humid, even if you drive naked, you'd still be baking. As for you comments on having sex in a car......

1-If your old enough to drive, and own a car, your old enough to have sex.

2-You should try sex in your car in a public place sometime. It might jump start your sex life with your wife, and maybe make you less grouchy, so you won't feel the need to flame someone's opinion and maybe slightly corny attempt at a little comic relief. (gossip)

if you don't like the removal of ac for the SC why bother posting here? you obviously aren't going to buy one...

Then the superchrger for you may not be the solution.

Its not only deleting the A/C compressor to make space to fit the S/C unit, but its also a matter of getting around the sudden load added to the crank when the A/C compressor turns on.

Don't forget that the compressor is a pump working against the head pressure of the refrigerant. When that electric clutch kicks in, its on!! It not like working the friction zone of the clutch where we ease it out to get the car rolling. When the compressor kicks in, it throws the full load right then and there onto the crank and all the belts. That means that its more than likely that the belt(s) will slip and screw up the lovely added performace from the S/C. And that is one reason why many of the S/C kits remove the A/C as part of the install.

At 6'3" 260lbs I'm doing good to FIT in my protege much less anything else.

I have a sense of humor.....just not much more patience left to AC comments.

Lol, yeah that and a lot of bitching and moaning to Matty about keeping the A/C cause I need to be able to drive clients around. So yeah, we've talked about it quite a bit.

Just to let everyone know, I just received the SC today.
Here are a couple pics. You guys will get to see it before Matty. LOL
Will start taking measurements as early as tomorrow.
