Got two for the front. Drove to work one day, I swear I cannot break traction.

Sunday 6/29 going racing in OKC, 7/6 racing in Tulsa. I'll keep you guys up-to-date on the results. I hope to place well in PAX.

In OKC, no one else is registered in-class (HS). In Tulsa, there is only a CR-Z that ways 3K lbs, 50% more than a 2. I smell victory for that one.

Now for the rear tires...

Well, I couldn't break the front tires once I got the pressure down to 40PSI. The rear tires are another matter. Factory Yoko's were bad in OKC. Some old Kumoh's were worse in Tulsa. Here is the results, first run:

Sunday is the next race. Now I'm going to use some NeoGen rear tires. I'm using these to get to work and back, and they are plenty for the street. RE11A on the front, NeoGen rear. Should be a good balance. I'll post the results.

Great balance. The rear would swing out some on tight corners, and rotate nicely. I was third of six in class, mid-pack in PAX.

The real fun was besting the three CAM class Mustangs.

I just ordered a CorkSport rear bar stiffener. Next autocross should be 9/21. This is going to be fun.

That rear CS bar is amazing. Especially with everything else stock, it'll produce some giggles. I remember after I put that on, for weeks I kept almost running into curbs when I would cut quick turns because the turn-in was so fast and sharp!

Here is an update folks - my 2 is running just fine, and I took the local H Street trophy for 2014 with it.

2015 plans - Corksport adjustable shocks at all four corners, and maybe a set of four older re11 Turanza Bridgstone tires.

Nice! Post up what you find it best for the shocks settings vs tire pressures.

I'm going to take a notebook with me to a test & tune at OKC the last weekend of March, unless the local group has a race that day. Even racing, I'm going to keep a log book. I'll post relevant notes here.

BTW, the RE11's were too old, the treadwear rating was 187 which would have kicked me out of street class.

I'd like my mostly stock 2 to be a model of what a low-cost autocross car can do.

There are eighteen different Bridgestone Potenza tires. RE11 and RE11A are cousins, and designed to meet autocross specs. I race with two RE11A tires on the front and two Neogens on the rear. All 205/50/15s. The balance is interesting to drive.
