Guys this hack works good but my average speed and average mpg don't seem to be updating.
Average means long term average since it was reset. It was keeping track even before you turned on the display so if you haven't reset it, it is showing the averages since the last time the battery was disconnected. Anything you do now has a very small effect. Try holding down the SET button while displaying the average. This will reset it. Then go for a drive and watch it update about once a minute.elderlycoffee said:Guys this hack works good but my average speed and average mpg don't seem to be updating.
I don't think you can put an '06 radio in an 04. The connectors are different. You could probably do it with a lot of creativity, but it won't be plug and play.vimo19 said:I have a 2004 Mazda 3 hatchback,if I buy a 2006 radio will the mod work ?

Sorry.

On the way to work today it was 20.8 average, but I was going 115 on the highway whenever I could..
