Undercoating Your Car

Hey guys.....I was wondering if any of you done undercoating and diamond waxing to your car before ?? if you have.......does it actually work very good ??
Coz I am planning to do mine on my P5 later this week...

i personally think they are a waste of money. diamond wax? just wax them yourself, (forget their gaunrantee, they WILL not wax your car ever again), undercoat? I live in vancouver, we don't get much snow, which means there is probably not much salt on the road, which means you don't have to worry about corrosion .

well I don't know what diamond waxing is...so I guess that answers THAT part of the question.

as far as undercoating....it really serves two purposes....one for corrosion protection...but it also acts as a sound deadener/insulator. you will hear less road noise.

hey lamb of silence.....I live in Vancouver too......Richmond to be exect......hehe....
Yeah...we don't get much snow here........
But the reason I want to do the undercoating and the diamond wax is coz its CHEAP !! I am getting it done for 125$ for everything........
When I bought the car the dealer told me 600$ and I was like NAH !!!
I know that undercoating is lifetime but not diamond wax...they come off in about 1 year half to 2 years.........
Lamb....u should we are getting some good weather here in Vancouver......I want my car to be shinny !! haha

It seems to me (and I've heard other people complain) that there's not much sound insulation in the rear wheel wells. When I get a chance, I'm gonna see what it looks like under there and maybe spray some undercar stuff in there, see if that works.

I recently bought a house. I found a couple cans of undercoating in the garage. When I get some time, I'll get under the car, see what it looks like in the rear wheel well (does it look like spraying some undercoating would help?) and then spray some of the stuff in there...see if it's quieter.

Hey Lamb.....there isn't much White P5 around in Richmond yet.....so if you see one....it might be one.......I have seen 1 other white P5 besides me and a girl drives it with tint window and also hawaii flowers hanging on the mirror.......

Well I used to have Krown rust control on my toyota truck and it was great had it for 8 years and not a speck of rust and underneath was practically new.

I also did it with my wifes pro 5 and the car is silver and the Krown oil creeps out and I have to clean it quite often to avoid any staining.

If you don't mind holes being drilled into your vehicle and have a colour that wont show the Krown oil I highly recommend it.

But there are better options out there you just have to pay for them.
