the funny thing is i bought rodscalip5's strut bar i was asking him about, and then sold it to equinox this summer(he chopped it up into a rear bar). the good ole days.. :(

there sure are some ricey engine bays. jesus. mine has absolutly no color scheme going on. you can see the edge of my plug wires peeking out from under my plastic engine cover, and if you look hard enough you can see my AWR motor mounts lol. other than that you have to crawl under the car or squat down to see any other mods on my car

This is what i got for now until my SS tubular equal length comes in. I will have the SS equal length mated to a custom polished 02 housing and a polished tial wastegate in there. Also, a 4 inch intake pipe and flter. More updated pics soon to come.

dude, you should have put that pic of you hiding under the hood...you'd win for sure!

I'll post a pic of mine soon, probably tonight. But i'm at work, but i've got a question.

I started polishing my valve cover last night and just noticed that it doesn't have the "Mazda 16 Valve DOHC" stamp. Does every MP3 have that? Any other Proteges?

heres my simple set up :) - chris
Is that a steelbraided hose cover like mine? If so did you use regular screw type hose clamps? Everyone of this i find in my town has too big of a head that the cover doesn't fit.

my kit is from ractive. i removed the rad hose, put the steel braid over, put the red fittings on, then the clamps. after putting the hose back in place, i clamped the approtiate sections (ends of the hoses). after it was clamped, i slid the red fittings over the clamps and closed them as tight as i could. it still moves around, but not that much. u can use strap ties on them if you or whoever is worried about them moving around, but there shouldnt be that much of a problem
