I don't have pictures of mine, maybe I'll slap one today after work and post it at night, but for a brief description about what wonderful under my hood....

10,600 miles motor
AEM intake
estimated around 5 lbs. of "performance" dust
pieces of smached up headlight glass from a NJ deer

.... so.... do I win? heheh....

u guys with the chrome engine covers and heat sheilds, how did you do it. did you use like 150 grit sandpaper and work ur way up till it was shiny and spray something on it ?

Ill speak on behalf of myself and Pirana ... the parts that are chromed were removed from the car and taken to a professional chrome plating shop where they are cleaned (possibly sand blasted) and then given a chemical bath to remove ALL contaminants, plated in nickel, plated in chrome, then polished up a bit.

You can clean the parts yourself and work your way thru sand papers and polishes to get a somewhat shiny surface, but nothing will be either a professional polish job, or even better, the chrome plating.
