Under Hood Turbo Smoke

When I boost with my car lately it will perform just fine, but i can smell something burning. When i stop and open the hood i find that there is smoke coming off of the turbo. Anyone have any thoughts?

Check for oil or coolant leaks on the turbo oil and coolant lines. If it's leaking from the seals inside the turbo you need a new turbo. Coolant and oil smell very different when they burn, you are likely smelling/seeing oil.

I found a leak between the turbo and oil return pipe, so i am going to change the o ring in there and see if that fixes it.

i just did that oring 2 days ago it has to be ordered at Mazda n costs less than $2.00 it took me about 1 hr to replace cuz its a Pita to put it back on without removing the oil drain piece from the MBSP. but my leak is gone so give it a shot
