Ultra Racing BG Fender Brace work on MSP MP3 MP5 ?

:
03 MSP OJ
the Malaysia Ultra Racing company sell fender brace for asian BG chassis ( protege, familia, haima family and 323 ?)

do they fit our BJ chassis?

It probably won't bolt up but you can maybe make it work. What is the point of the brace?

On MOST FWD cars (and a lot of RWD), the firewall is a major stress point and subject to quite a bit of chassis flex. This helps to improve the bending rigidity of the unibody in that area. I've seen a similar product produced for Miatas, and reports from people that used it were that it definitely worked.

If you're ever see true racecar fabrication, they accomplish the same thing by:
A. Seam welding or
B. Extending the cage through the firewall and interfacing with the strut/shock towers.

part of my fender structure has rust on them, while i am gonna do some rust removal and proofing, i just wanna know if i can strengthen them a bit

Makes sense if you have extensive rust. So the car is supposed to feel more solid in hard corners? I don't think I would notice a difference on my daily driven car.

You'd probably notice the stiffer chassis on uneven bumps most of all. Car will feel more solid, suspension will work more effectively, typically improve stability of the car.

callphy; if you're doing some rust removal in that area, I'm assuming you'll be welding in patch panels. Any place you see sheet metal spot welded, you could always seam weld over it which will improve structural rigidity. You could also fab up additional panels to weld over the tops of the sheet metal in that area.

so far i only roughly checked, didnt see much yet , most rust are near the holes that bolts went in on the top part of the fender
