Hey man, I am assuming your name is Casey, you were driving the silver P5 right? So what happened over that hill man?

Casey's computer went in the shop this week or is coming back from the shop this week. He's not online at work and rarely posts on or checks the boards.

I'll let him respond - but in general I wanted to mention that its a bad BAD idea to hit the brakes as you crest a hill at any kind of respectable clip. Getting the rear end squirrelly is fun, especially when its recoverable - but I prefer doing that kind of driving only on parking lots, around cones ;)

I was driving right behind him and all I can say is he should thank the Lord that there were no other cars on the other side of the road. His life would have been over. (bike)

I'll give Casey a call and ask him what happened back there.. I was with Amber in the 4th car.. his forum name is demon eyes.

People - brake BEFORE the turns, and then commit to the turn. If you try to brake during, we will be picking up pieces of your car from the side of the road.

Casey - I don't know what everyone is referring to, but I hope you and the car are ok.

as a general rule this is the best tactic...but sometimes you want to brake while turning to shift weight over the front tires to rotate the car...this is usually planned and executed before the turn [drift style]...depending on the track and the line you are following this sometimes is the best option...but not for the inexperienced driver especially on a 2 lane road with rather dangerous ditches and trees to smack into
