so i have no idea what this could possibly be. but i got to school this morning then decided to run to mcdonals for breakfast with my girl. i start my car and hear an unusual clank. not the normal virbations from the car but an actual clank then at mcondals pullin forward from the payment window same thing. my girl stated maybe u didnt give it enough gas. i looked at her in awe thinkin who does she think i am lol. i guess it coulda been that thinkink back on it but i highly highly doubt it. my gf was drivin me around on sat night i am only 18 and had some to drink but was soberin up however we have a not a drop act in utah and didnt wana risk gettin pulled over for something stupid and yeah anyways she was turning right and went up a curb then down. it wasnt to bad and i check the car quickly did a few tests everything seemed fine but now this. im kinda worried. my thoughts is it could either be a broke motor mount which i will check out after schoolbut i dont feel any extra vibrations driving, and thats about it im not knowledgable to know what it could be please help the noobie

It could broken an exhaust hanger or a heat shield. That would clank a lot when you slow down.

yeah that could be it as well that happened on my spec v ill run it over to my buds and jack it up and check that out. thanks. any other thoughts ne one?

^ +1 dude but that corner the curb pops out quite a bit more then it should alot of peeps have that prob with it but i was pretty upset

it could just be that sway bar nut recall, mine started making a clunk sound in the back 2 weeks after i got it. Im not sure exactly which nut it is, but i dont think its an endlink. Are you in Salt Lake?

Same thing happened to mine.... Take it in to the dealer they'll replace it for free

yeah i am in south jordan dude. if u live near by we should meet up and cruise before the season is over. its comin up fast. and it wasnt a big deal at all it was just a exhaust hanger my buddy at master muffler took great care of me again. he squeezed me in before some customers that were all ready waiting and was done in a minute
