theres no way that any aircraft in the world can pull that off, even if your dad says it can... it cant!
hoax or not, your a fool..There are several planes than can pull mach 1 area turns like that...Don't kid yourself..I'm not talking about the hovering and irratic movement, i'm talking about the high speed turn by the helicopter..GreenPic said:man i cant believe some of the idiotic posts in this thread... theres no way that any aircraft in the world can pull that off, even if your dad says it can... it cant! 1st off, froma maintenance pov the compenents in the aircraft would have to be overhauled/replace after every flight for excessive g-force, let alone the pilot blacking out at that speed... then you'd have to wipe the chunks off all the cockpit, hate to have that detail.. lol aircraft cant come to a stop and pull that kind of accelleration like that. ever watch fighter jets take off? they're slow as s*** because the jet turbine engine isnt fast to accellerate, thats why you got those videos of sportscars beating jet fighters off the line.
if it is a jet, id hate to work on it... imagine all the discrepancies the pilot comes down with... be code 3 after every flight lol... debreif would actually be doing some work for a change puttin all those discrepancies into CAMS!! now thats some funny s***!!
so ya, in short its a hoax...
or it could've been a philly cheese steak sandwich?!?!![]()
lol i think you need to reconsider... a mach 1 turn like that would certainly be very stressful on the airframe and any equipment within it... and pilots wouldnt risk their lives carelessly like that or the multi millon dollar aircraft underneath their butt.SpicyMchaggis said:hoax or not, your a fool..There are several planes than can pull mach 1 area turns like that...Don't kid yourself..I'm not talking about the hovering and irratic movement, i'm talking about the high speed turn by the helicopter..
haha, yep. There's a little thing called g-forces.GreenPic said:lol i think you need to reconsider... a mach 1 turn like that would certainly be very stressful on the airframe and any equipment within it... and pilots wouldnt risk their lives carelessly like that or the multi millon dollar aircraft underneath their butt.
you might wanna stop believing everythingon the wings discovery channel before you start calling people fools. (stfu)

The question in the Maneuver is NOT about the turn AT ALL ... it's about the "Object" Moving from one spot to another at high speed ... Coming to a COMPLETE Stop in Mid-air ... then accelerating again to full escape velocity on a 90 degree banked turnSpicyMchaggis said:a 700+ mph turn like that isn't totally uncommon...especially for planes like the F15E's and F22's..I think you need to brush up on your spec's. Hell back in the mid to late 70's F104 starfighters were seeing turns like that at similar speeds..this is nothing new.
Yes, Harriers are VTOL capable.... but have you ever really seen a Harrier in action when in VTOL mode ? Nowhere near the movement exhibited by the "object"Midnightracer22 said:dunno if anyone responded to ur post, but itz the harrier jet, there is also a prop plane that can do it, but thats mainly for air rescue, not really a fighter plane
Okay, I take back what I just said.Midnightracer22 said:i just read the rest of the thread and saw the videos... no way a harrier could do that...
.
Actually, it was the Panicked and befuddled Japanese Voice over that did it for mepdhaudio83 said:hahah, its teh damn musak. it makes you all think its UNSOLVED mysteries. (rlaugh)

I do, but I'm having trouble finding an actress to point and say "it's over there"mooS mooS said:Don't you have an Unidentified Flying Cheese Steak to film ?
