TXS FMIC Duck call

I bought a used Txs Fmic & under full throttle it makes a noise similar to the sound of holding a blade of grass between the 4 knuckels of your 2 thumbs and blowing. Its a lower pitch than the turbo spool, and doesnt change pitch with rpm's like the turbo. I removed the filter from my sri and the noise is still there. I noticed the passenger side port on the IC core wasn't completely round, more of a reverse D shape with the flat spot on the outside, probably bent in shipping. Kinda has a duck call sound to it under boost, along side the usual turbo/intake sound. I plan on addressing the D shaped port soon noise or not, but is there anything else I should look for? Other under hood mods are CPE SRI, Cobb inlet, & a Forge BPV.

Thats clamp on the turbo needs to be so fuking tight. if u like to TQ it i found that about 45 inch lbs the t bolt camp was tight enougth that it wont leak.

also if u want to fix the D shape on ur intercooler u can buy an exhaust expander from autozone witch should make it perfectly round again. I know this cause i had the same problem buying a used SRT4 intercooler

here i am thinking that u put a duck call thingy on the end of ur blow off valve and had posted a video of it in this thread..im dissapointed. but glad u fixed ur problem..

ROFL... I actually did that on my Supra back in the late 90's. Sometimes, I'd leave it on when I was driving in traffic, and depending on who the person next to me was, they were either completely confused, or died laughing.

Didn't own a camcorder back then, and only got the sound on a cassette recorder. (Don't have the tape any more) Ahhh, analog...
