Just got done installing my new (used) rear calipers with new rotors and pads.
Haven't done the front's yet, but they'll look the same.

Looks really nice. I did mine two-tone red & yellow back in '02 because we just couldn't decide which color we liked better (team Mickey D's!).

very interesting concept. cant wait to see the finish product! props for originallity

Thanks for all the good words, I was kinda going off of the GTOs calipers, but different colors and switched

wow, nice job bro. what paint did you use and did you brush it on or spray?
I used Duplicolor spray paint and sprayed it on, putting many coats of color and then tons of clear.
Last time I painted my calipers I used the G2 kit - between the two ways I would pick the G2 hands down. You have to spray so much Duplicolor paint on the calipers until you get a good thick covering, and then it still chips pretty easy. Even though the G2 paint has to be brushed on and requires about 3-4 coats, it's really rubbery and doesn't chip very easily at all.

Hey chris,
I bought used rear calipers so I had the luxury of having them completely off and could paint it all around and then just swapped them when the time came. For the fronts I won't have that flexibility, but I'm still taking the caliper completely off and spray painting it hanging in the wheel well. It annoyed me last time I painted it when I could see unpainted parts in the caliper because I couldn't reach it too well.

I know what you mean. If I ever get around to doing it, I will probably wait until its time to do rotors and pads and take everything apart.

Lookin good though...post pictures of the fronts and the final product with the wheels on when you're finished.

I can take a picture later today of the back wheels with all the new stuff, but I need to find a free day to do my front calipers, so that'll be a little while until that.
