TWM short throw

will the short throw form TWM work on my MSP? how bout the kartboy? how much does it reduce throw?

Yes, has anyone done this yet?Does it improve over what we have already?Be nice to know if someone has done this already.

I emailed TWM and they said it would fit (no promises on the threading).

I received it on Friday, but was out of town this weekend and will probably be installing it next weekend. I plan on taking LOTS of pics of the install, with as many comparisons as I can think of.

If you can wait a week, it'll be posted.

By the way, it looks like a very nicely made piece (all blue and shiny LOL).

um, well be sure u take a nice pic of them side by side becuz i believe that the current one on the msp is shorter than the twm maybe im wrong but i coulda swore i read on another thread that it was a shorter through with the stock msp, acutall i believe it was someone that had a p5 that found out it was a shorter throw and wanted the stock msp one rather than twm.

Well, I'm going off what I've read - that the shifter in the MSP is shorter, but not a true short-shifter. In other words, the height is shorter, but the throws aren't.

Not sure if it's a stock MP3 or P5, but it's a good illustration to see the differences between the shifters.

I'm sure somebody has swapped theirs in their MSP ... hopefully they'll post.

no i understand that, im talking about the throw being shorter, im not a complete moron you can have the part above the ball as long or as short asyou want it, but after the ball needs to be as long as you can find to shortent he throw, and from what i understand the one that comes on the stock msp is shorter than twm someone did a comparison cuz they wanted one for there p5

yeps we all will i wasn't implying that you were implying that i was a moron. if i got uptight over something like this, then i really would be a moron im just stating what i have read on the forum. but hey if its a shorter throw if thats what you find out lemme know i'll definately be into getting on.
