I noticed a minor increase in vibration when I installed the bushings a few months ago, but the short shifter hasn't effected vibration. Since the bushings install, I have noticed a more mechanical feeling when shifting. It seems to translate some of the force when the gears are meshing. And the last time I ground a gear it shoot right up my arm like I could feel each tooth rubbing against each other. Overall, I really like the improved communication from the car.
