yes i know peak and it is 150 peak. Yes i know that they can be fudged because companies will test something till it bursts and then list that as peak power. Kenwood is notorious for this. I install car electronics... sorry if i came off as an idiot im just laid back. Anywho the tweets in the little door casing pop right off and my tweets were made to be mount just with two screws so i opend the plastic case the was around the speak itself and took the simple speak unit tied the wires in and sodered it taped the just taped the tweet down and once its clicked in the casing itll hold. I installed the same tweets in my friends civic along with his stock ones adn you can hear his music sing three cars back i only have 6 tweets he has 12.
1st how much you pay for that altenator...i need something more powerful im about to put a 7in tv in and a playstations along with what im already hitting.

yea but i havea huge draw as it is. What would you suggest as the safest set up for the tv adn the tv tuner adn the plasystaion 2. Where should i pull the power for the invertor hah ive done some stupid stuff hooking strobes up in my car i had six of them haah its how i killed the stock batt hah everything goign at once hah im much mroe careful ha
un sure its a rather old invertor thats scratched to hell and its only two plugs. Im really hoping for your advice on this one as i've only installed D/C tvs an this is A/C and same with VCR and DVD players.
And now im going to be installing a car computer with these electrical specs.
Electrical Requirements Line voltage 110V (90V to 130V AC) or 230V AC (180V to 260V AC)
Frequency: 47 to 63Hz, single phase
Power in: DC 18V / 3A
Max. Power 54 Watts
i cant imagine that the tv is of 8-12ws of draw
and the ps2 pulls 69watts
and i mean i want a buffer so we down blwo anything
What do you recomend as for mounting and where to draw the power source.

yea i know haa i jsut scared myself with those strobe i mean you do a half ass job cause you want it done by the night you get half ass results.
So now i do all my work with care on my car just like the car i work on.
Ha but my car was shutting off it turned out to be a lose batt terminal done by your truly hah i about hit myself with a socket wrench. it was funny because my alarm would just go off then shut off haha you could just sit there and when the wind blew hard enough or something it would go off (cause of the safety) then stop.
Anyways thanks for the re-assurance i appreiate it ill post some pics once its all done.
oh ya and i just installed my custom box with my friends much need assitance if you know where i can get a HUGE chrome mazda symbol that would be rocking.

Gota question regarding power handling..
These speakers are capable of doing 60w RMS, would driving them with my HU, which is 50max, 23 RMS do any damage to the speakers, and problems , anything I can't think of..

no sir, infact itll be pretty safe and will prevent some distortion, hehe im selling headunit if you want it hehe free plug. anywho im also gonna sggest in you apline letting the sub do all the bass and taking and having all your speaks run the high and the mids you will really enjoy the lyrics along with a crisp bass.

I replaced the factory woofers and tweets with a pair of Infinity Reference components. I removed the mesh grille from the Infinity tweets and they fit right in where the old ones were. Here's a link that should help you out:
