Tweecer for Ford ECU's

Well, haven't heard anything from reffoxel yet, I just PM'd him though. The Tweecer guy replied to my last email saying the ECU by itself wouldn't do him much good.

I'm guessing it wouldn't power on correctly without any sensors or anything else hooked up, but who knows. I don't know what the procedure is.

All they want to do is d/l the flash right? As long as the ECU is powered on the sofware should be able to talk to it?

The ford ecu will power on without sensors, becuase the EEC Tuner (alot like the Tweecer) can program the ECU with it off the car (you can get an adapter to power it).

There needs to be some clarification on what he needs...

Okey this week I was slammed at work. But checked my schedule and don't have any major projects lined up for the week of the 9th. So (knock on wood) I might be able to get the 12th and 13th off for a little road trip to Houston. Will PM you Peepsalot if my leave get approved.

Everyone pitch in a dollar for gas money! :)

Well, here's an update on my situation. Looks like I probably won't be going this week for two reasons. 1) Other tech at work went in for emergency surgery and won't be back at work for awhile. So I'm stuck handling mine and his offices. 2) I'm having tranny problems, car pops out of 5th gear when I let off the gas and there's a weird sporadic loud clicking noise in first when I take off. Hoping I can get this taken care of sometime this week, but may have to wait till this weekend.

too weird...

If someone can get me a photo, I have an email for Unichip to send a pic of the 104 pin plug. Unichip may let me do a baseline map at Fast Line in CT for a stock P5. Then we can run some tuning tests and get some tweaked maps.

No, I haven't had the time to go down there, my life has been pretty hectic lately, and any free time I have I usually waste away trying to fix my goddamn idle.
No one else was able to volunteer either.

Ok knock on wood guys. My tranny is finally fixed. Car seems to running fine. I just need to set some things up, so I can be sure to have time to go to Houston and back with a reduced risk of any major problems popping up on me.

Okey doke here's an update. I have off this Friday thru all of next week. Have talked to Mike Glover and I'm scheduled to go to Houston Friday where He'll read the ECU Calibration then work on the data logging that night and then we'll play with it on Saturday. Just gotta book a hotel room :)

This is some good news! ! !
