Turkey elimination

Does anybody have any experience with finding a bigger bpv that will eliminate compressor surge aka "turkey"? I would get a bov setup but i've heard a lot about the stalling issues with bov's. Anybody's input is appreciated.

Stalling is due to the MAF being before the BOV, relocate the MAF and the car will not stall.

is there any certain distance between the MAF and the bov that needs to be correct? or from the MAF to the TB?

i think the bov needs to be the closest to the throttle body and the maf sensor before that

therefore, the air being released has the quickest escape with minimal backflow,
air ----B(^)V-TB-> insead of air ----B(^)V---MAF----TB--->

if you have your maf sensor between your tb and bov then the air between will be going back and forth (over an air-flow sensor!!)between the charge-release
---B(^)V---(<-->)MAF(<-->)----TB--->

maf sensor before the bov means air will always be moving in one direction (whilst passing MAF)
---->MAF ->---B(^)V-(<->)-TB-->

my 2cent

It has nothing to do with the direction of the air, when the BOV opens in a VTA setup the engine stalls because the MAF has already accounted for the amount of air going through it and the air going into the TB is not the same amount after the BOV opens therefore it runs far too rich and stalls out. Same as having a vacuum/boost leak.
