I just ordered it last night because I thought it was a heck of alot better performance wise than our stock peice of junk Denso bypass valve. But anyway has anyone else installed one and did you have to modify the tubing to get it to work properly? I also thought of buying the Turbo XS MBC but I'm not to sure of taking a chance to blow my motor.

So with my ecu being flashed it be ok for me to push it up to 8 or 10 psi without any probs. Would it also be wise to get a fcd if I uped the boost? I guess it make the hesitation even worse also. I got the flash and the fpr and it still hesitates like hell when I'm flooring it.

im not flashed so i wouldnt know. I boost much more than that but im not flashed. Im pretty sure that 9 psi and flashed will be fun for a good while.

Isn't there anyone with the type 34 that could shed some insight with me? I would like to go ahead and buy the stuff before it gets here so I can install it right away.

i think one person has it on their car......dude from discussions we've had before on this forum alot of members said they bpv we have stock is good to go...your probably gonna upgrade to a fmic or hardpipes so i would get a blow-off valve.
just a couple words of thought.

(rofl2) dont let some of these people poison your mind with that.

or how about you stop poisoning his mind period. let him make his own decision whether to up the boost or not. im not saying either way is good, but its up to the car owner not us. shrug.

I would love to up the boost alittle but I've got to many other things to pay for other than a new motor. But wtf i'll probably go up to 8 or 10. I don't think it'll hurt. and if it does oh well lifes a pain.

i thought that the turkey was due to the placement of the bpv. with the hardpipes cant you change the mounting of the bpv?

Which screw are you talking about? Or do you mean the washers?

Well..if it uses washers, then, remove them until you find a nice idle, good performance, and of course, to get rid the turkey,

I thought that BOV had a Soft - Loud setting on top...with a screw that pushes the spring

I have tried the washer thing and it will idle kinda decent with only 4 washers in it but I still have the turkey. I know that if I pull off the recirculating tubing that the turkey is gone but too much of a pain in the ass to drive like that.
