Ok, I'm posting this in here instead of the P5 forum because we probably have more people with turbo experience than in the P5 forum. (but I could be wrong)
Anyway, I have a Flyin' Miata Protege turbo kit. Long story short, while trying to remove the oil feed line to replace the inboard water hose, the fitting snapped off inside the turbo. (oil fitting) After drying my tears, I'm now faced with the problem of how do I get that part out? It's hollow so I can't tap it, and when it was installed they used some grey thread locking substance which is pretty strong stuff. Trying to remove the AN fitting from the broken adapter has defied me thus far, I tried heating it and also soaking it with PB blaster, but that stuff is pretty rock solid.
I now have two nonfunctional vehicles, my MSP is awaiting rebuild parts and now my P5 has a turbo with a busted fitting inside...
