I just received my HKS turbo timer today, likely that I will be installing it within a week, in addition im going to wire in a fuel kill. Drop me a line if you have any questions.

Hey..
What made you go with HKS? why not the other brands? What is better about it than the competitor's?

Where are you planning on install it too?

Thanks

I'm using the turbo timer for its most basic function, keeping my car on for a period of time after the i turn the car off. Other units had multi functions that i didnt want like lap timers, and other engine read outs that weren't necessary for me. And atm I plan to mount it in the storage compartment under the radio. I don't feel the need to proudly display it anywhere else in the car.

actually, does anyone know anything about timers? Because I'd like to know something about them....like which ones to stay away from, how hard they are to install etc.

I only want a very basic one as well. Unless, I can find something that fits in the spare DIN without looking cheasy.

What I really want is something like this

But, it fits in the DIN, and reads temp, oil, PSI, boost control maybe, etc etc. I could care less about lap times, g force and other useless crap.

This apexi product is really cool but it's not a turbo timer. Search the site more and you'll find apexi's pen looking turbo timer. I have one ordered already.

Most turbo timers aren't that big to be fitting into a din. If you look at the BLITZ FATT turbo timer it's only about 2 inches by 1 inch big. I know the apexi one isn't too big either so I plan on putting it right above the shifter.

Here is a pic of the timer:

I realize they weren't that big. But, I was kinda hoping to get an all in one device, that's has a LED display. rather then having to buy, various gauges, get pods for them, AND get a timer as well.

I'm just trying to find something to fill in that hole in the dash without spending 1500.00 on something I don't need, like a in dash tv screen.
