Turbo System Switch to MAM 2nd Gen Streeet Sleeper Kit

Did some more tuning to my mid-range. I only added about 1 degree more. I am not trying to be too aggressive. The off-boost pull is more responsive now.

This morning, after I dropped my daughter off at school, it was cooler than normal. I gunned it, and got very slight ping. SO I loaded the map that I tuned on the way to work yesterday, and all is good again, and a smoother. No more timing until I can get my hands on a J&S.

So where you add more? You can't be too advanced heavily into high boost.
This E10 gas only supports X amount of timing.

Yeah, I won't be doing that. BTW, I have the E6X. I added most of the timing in the off-boost, and low boost (below 7 PSI) area. Only one or two degrees more at most in the high-boost areas.

E10 is the ethanol gas n00b:)

You prob added timing in the peak torque loads which caused your ping off transition tuning.

(rlaugh) Well dam, I was wondering... I thought you were becoming senile or some s***... I was like, I know Sam knows what I have...

Front shot..

Fact: you know that there is something fishy about an MP3 when it has a huge fmic and the msp still has the stock smic. LOL

Honestly, great job on the turbo upgrade!

aye :-D got the core in today, as soon as i get the couplers i will commence to put on the front mount

I think I discovered a loose hose clamp today. I tightened it up, and the car is behaving a lot different...for the better!! Air/Fuel ration is more consistant now.

linux, ? for you....i'm getting my MAM sleeper mani rewelded and as i'm removing the nuts from the studs that hold the turubo to the mani...the stud is coming out with it...and as you know there's not much room befor the stud hits the turbo and you can't get the nut off...any ideas before i break something on how to get that nut off? thanks!!

Got pics? I can't seem to get a visual of what you are referring to.

sure, i'll take a couple when i get home.....i think i'm going to have to try and hold the stud in place with some needle nose vise grips and then back the nut off so the stud and nut don't turn together...

Yeah, after a couple of days, I now see that the loose hose clamps were the problems all along!! :wtf:
