man I'm sure gonna try my darndest, but I have two kids that I watch since school is out, so I always end up spending a lot of time with them, which I don't mind the least bit!

I will finish the floor and rear cab wall and such this week though!
Also had some more parts coming in and also looking forward to the three paychecks in july lol...

Hells yeah! I was beginning to wonder...
Ya, my schedule sucks, but sometimes its worth it. Gotta pay to play!

not much updates guys...

been working like crazy. i am currently working nine weeks straight before my next week off.

but i did pick uop a few things, and am trying to get ahold of the guy to give me all my parts back for the turbo mani since hes obviously f***ing me around. ive waited as long as i can on his ass...

anywho, heres some pics..

i picked up this complete back half for super cheap!
cnotch, 4 link, air tank, valves, axle, shocks, train horns and all that will be used to bag the other mazda that i still havent had time to get running haha. i also got all the s*** to bag the front, so i just need a weekend to work on it. prolly wont tackle this til after the big show im going to in arkansas in september since i need to get the other truck presentable and ready to go on a trailer for that...

so lemme know what u guys think of this-- i want to do a power rear cab window like on the old blazers and the new tundras.
im still looking into the best way to do this, and am gonna go junkyard searching for a motor and all the necesary stuff to do this. i think i can use the track from a 4runner then i will just have to come up with mounting and running molding to seal it and all that junk.

its just an idea im throwing around right now, but i think it would be badass and totally set the truck off...

im hoping to have some time here and there to work on the truck since im running out of time on it before this show and i want a complete interior minus carpet and a full lifting steering truck. obviously it isnt going to run, but i want it to be easier to get on and off of the trailer than it was at the last show...

sorry about the lousy updates, but like i said, been really busy...

i cant believe no one has mentioned what an awesome idea that is for the rear window. if you pull that off then this build will get infinatley better (as if thats possible. its already awesome)

I would check out an old bronco II to see if they have a power assy in them. For some reason I think they did. Either that or an 80s full size bronco to get the motor, gears, regulator, etc. Should be crazy cheap anymore.

Nice to see some updates with this one!

Hell yeah on the window idea! You will be the only one...like in the movie Highlander! LOL!

Power rear window is a great Idea! I considered it when I was thinking doing something along those lines on one of my old projects! I believe Derrick is correct in stating Bronco II's had power sliders, in some models anyway!

Love the sliding back window idea!
Haven't found anyone so far that doesn't lol!
+1 million for the sliding back window. It would be so awesome. I vote a big fat YES!

The problem is the size of the motor and brackets and all that jazz and how it all mounts.
I am also trying to figure out something that I can use the window and all, but thanks for the suggestions!

Its gonna take a lot of measuring and thought, but it will be worth it in the end.

Thing is I'm running out of time to get my truck rolling for this show, and I keep adding more s*** to the build lol...

Didn't the Del Sol have a rear roll down window? Might be worth looking into to find parts that'll fit into a smaller space versus the bigger Chevys or Fords.

Kinda weird, I am a honda nut at heart, and that thought never crossed my mind!
That would've been worth a shot, but I am willing to bet its harder to find a wrecked del sol than to get parts off a similar vehicle and prolly more expensive!
