I post all those updates and all I get is u eating popcorn? Lol

Those seats look legit! I think they'll go quite well with the theme of the truck :)
Ya I was super excited. Took them a long time to get here via greyhound, so I was super worries/excited about the condition they would arrive in, but they're stellar!

less talk more progress picks! lmao Looks good man keep up the good work!
Hopefully get some more work done this week and next!
Ill keep it updated, don't worry!

Well if I could get the guy to return my calls I would get a turbo manifold sometime this decade!
But until then I will keep plugging away on the interior!
Hope to have it all done and start fitting the rx7 door panels and maybe rx7 rear seats also!

hey, it's really good popcorn...! just enjoying the updates when they come. this is one of the most serious ground-up builds around.
i'll keep checking back. with my popcorn.

Great build dunno how I missed it....On another note how are the white wall's holding up thinking about doing that to my s-10..

Well I haven't driven on them yet, but they look good sittin in front of my house lol.

I would suggest sanding the tires down more than I did or do the grinder trick to them.
Google it lol.

And stay tuned!

I hear ya I have no white letter's or anything so the grinder trick is out of the question lol saw a bunch of those on youtube. So I'll prob just paint them tomorrow after work lol I also have a chevy extreme stock setup which should lower it some well see..thanks for the tip

The seats look better in there than they did in my RX-7! I'm glad they made it in (relatively) unscathed condition. If you haven't already found out the driver's seat has a "tilt" adjustment to it as well as seatback angle. For some reason I haven't seen that on any other RX-7.

Does the lid for your center console life from the front or the side (which side)? Mine opens from the driver's side but it's really annoying because you can't fully open it if someone's in the passenger's seat. The 'vert consoles opened from the front but I don't know if they're interchangeable.

I'm away from home for a bit, but I'm almost positive it lifts from the front.
I will check for u in a couple days when I get home if u want, but it mates up to the dash perfectly!

And thanks again for the seats, and also it sucks that the driver seat has the adjustments since it is now my passenger seat lol.

But they do fit well and r comfy to me for what I need them for!

Magnum, the console lifts from the front.

And really no updates, but I need all of u guys help!

So I really want a different steering wheel and I'm having trouble finding one that flows and would look good in a stock interior...

Anybody got any ideas?

Again, awesome build! I'm amazed at how much you had to raise the floor to clear the frame. As far as steering wheels, I found these on fleabay but they're not cheap:

RX7 FD3S Steering wheel

RX7/RX3 SA22

Like I said not cheap but I think they look really cool for being OEM Mazda steering wheels.

I have looked at both of those. Really like the mazdaspeed one, and idk if the fd steering wheel would flow or not.

If u haven't figured out by now, if I really want/need something for this build, I will find a way to get it!

Also, I have been talking to an engine builder about getting my engine rebuilt and possibly a street port or a full on bridgeport lol.

Hopefully I can get rid of some parts and get some extra funds for a wheel and shift knob and a rebuild!

Also if anyone has any ideas on a shift knob also lol...

I personally like that FD3S Steering wheel simply for the Rotary emblem on the center of it. If you want a quality shift knob, I've got a TWM Piston type in Gunmetal, the knobs themselves are really pricey, but adding it to my car improved the shift performance of my car greatly! Not sure if your rig is 5 speed or 6 speed, but I have a Mazdaspeed "Woodgrain" Shiftknob that I got from Corksport with my B&M Shifter. I'd sell it pretty cheap if that is a direction you might be interested in going in.

i have been looking over the twm shifters actually, but cant decide on color or the actual shift knob lol...

and yes, that fd steering wheel is nice, but i think it may be too roundish for my interior if that makes any sense...
