Turbo problems. PLEASE HELP!

:
Mazdaspeed Protege 2003.5
So, I have replaced the OEM wastegate actuator, with the Forge WGA, and now when i boost it will boost for a bit and then spike down to like it is not boosting at all? No boost leaks, wastegate assembly seemed fine. I am completely lost. Turbo is in good condition. Any replies will greatly be appreciated. i'm looking for a great answer to help me fix this problem ASAP.

is it the adjustable version? what psi r u getting to when it does boost?

when u had everything apart was the wastegate easy to move open/close by hand or was it a bit hard to move. (not the actuator, the arm that it connects to on the back of the turbo)

It was very easy, and yes its adjustable, my normal boost before the aftermarket WGA was 5, now it goes 5-8ish and spike extremely low pretty much right after full boost. Any ideas to fix this problem?

Also it seems to be boosting at low rpms in 2nd and up, around 3000-4500. If you need me to explain more for you to understand the problem, let me know i'll do my best. Thanks for the replies.

whats low? like 4psi from 4000rpm to redline?

did you make the new adjustable arm the same length as the stock wastegate arm?

The internal wastegate flap might be opening early, check to see if the arm where the WGA arm connects has backed out of the exhaust housing on the turbo.

the wastegate seems really easy to open and the flap seems really movable, is there suppose to be a washer there to keep it from being flimsy? Wastegate assembly suppose to be very easy to open with the acuator removed right?
