I was at the grocery store last night and my women asked me to go get the milk and eggs and of course I always make it by the magazine sections first and chill there for a minute or two and flip through SCC & Turbo Magazine. I started to flip through the first few pages and noticed the front of a silver MSP front end and of course immediately it caught my attention cause you never see any Protege's in any magazines, well rarely you might see a P5 in some show pics buy never any serious talk about them. So I went ahead and bought the magazine. It is out right now on newstands and is 4 or 5 pages long about the stuff we talk about all day long on here but it's always nice to see the Speed in the spotlight a few times because the STI's and Evo's are just killing Magazine Popularity contests.

I think they ended up with about 232whp, but then gave up because of no decent fuel management.

It was something like that at 10.75psi. They said that they probably could have pulled 242whp but encountered the fuel problems. But they also said they ran it like a ***** on the dyno and ran it over 60 times and came out with consistant numbers almost every run which is awesome. It was nice to see them complimenting it so much, I actually was really suprised.

they've never heard of unichip, MPI, or haltech?(dunno)

They had to give back the car because it was at the end of their "loan period", and didn't go crazy on the mods because Mazda instructed them not to. They talked a bit about fuel management, and mentioned Unichip and said that was the route they'd reccommend. I also bought this magazine because I saw project MSP, and they have this cool new turbo system for trucks that is mounted in the back of the car, near the exhaust. The exhaust pipe ends up being only about 3 ft or so from the rear of the car.
