really whats wrong with it?

its missing all sorts of components that would make it reliable or even workable on our cars to say the least. go with MAM or Hiboost

well its got to options for the fuel management. what about the wagner or the bell?

the extra injectors setup they have is questionable and the SAFC II will not even work on the protege. if you can get a hold of wagner he might be able to put together a decent kit for you, he hasn't been around in a while and plenty of people here have bad things to say about him.

i would recommend www.bellengineering.net, www.**************************.com or www.hiboost.com

why doesnt the apexi afc work on our cars exactly?

the stock ecu learns around the afc and safc, etc and overrides the inputs from these units

damn ECU's are cunts is what it is. **** COMPUTERS MAN, they are part of the machine, the machine to connect and control us all, just trying to kkeep tabs on our every move, why else do you think everything has a ******* computer in it man? DON'T TRUST A COMPUTER!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...:D

yes computers are teh gay. you all could just cut the memory wire on the ecu so each time u start the car it'd be fresh ;)

yeah i disconnect battery every week, so ecu has to relearn. takes a while for it to build a fuel map that works best in emisions.

hehe. i have a modded TSI kit :)
Although what I have seems to be a first run or something... i don't care about the whole kit.. the turbo is brand new, the manifold is prime, the FMIC is in really good shape.. all the piping is lowgrade, but it'll do the trick until i set aside $200 to redo all the piping :)

The EIC is something i'm going to have to play with.. Brian_MP5T uses the same extra injector setup.. so he'll be helping out with setting that up :)

Either way.. I paid $1200 (incl. shipping) for the entire kit... good deal no matter how you look at it.

Agreed.
Can you give us an update on your TSI kit?
How did the extra injector setup pan out?
Did you ever redo the intercooler plumbing?
