Agreed.
Can you give us an update on your TSI kit?
How did the extra injector setup pan out?
Did you ever redo the intercooler plumbing?

it still works.
i got rid of the injectors, using haltech e6x
i ran 10psi on the turbo all last summer.. i'm at the 'stock' 4psi for the turbo, right now, i'm going to be installing my EBC once i get my grounding issue figured out.

the intercooler plumbing still needs to be redone, the pipes are low and pretty banged up, but no leaks :D it's aluminum and sturdy as s***.

hiboost is synonimous with quality.
my buddy had a few probs with his Mz3, though.

if you want it RIGHT, build yourself.

Thanks for the update. What was the problem with the extra injector setup they provided with your kit? I realize the haltech e6x is a better way to go, but I'd like to know what your experiences were with the extra injectors? Did you have any flat spots or driveability issues? Any detonation? Why did you remove them?

injectors worked fine, just not efficient.
extra injectors can't be fine tuned like the haltech, that's really it.

no detonation... no major probs i can remember - i went to the mpi for a summer, then to the haltech this summer.
