Did not post in NEPOC thread before so didnt get much reponce so here it is

Getting turbo kit real soon and want to find a place soon so i can get the thing installed as soon as im out of school. I have no experience working on engines and im getting a lentech so i cant really do the install myself and was just wondering if anyone knows a good shop to get it put in thats in the Boston area. willing to travel far to find a good shop. i went to one today but it looked like s*** and they wanted 100 bucks an hour for their work, i was thinking they would charge around 60 but 100 i thought was steep, those of you who have installed the Hiboost or MAM kit how much did you pay per hour/what was the total install cost, and like i said above you you know of a good shop in boston area to this stuff put in that would be sweet. thanks

mark(bazooka joe) may know a good shop he lives in or neer boston and he had his kit installed but i think he did it himself but hell its worth a shot

sounds good ill give him a PM or somthin, i need to pull out the tranny too so dont think this can be a driveway install which kinda sucks but

Jeremy

he is pulling the tranny because he is getting a Lentech trans ($$$)

hey...did the turbo install myself, not easy...not overly difficult...i had a few fit and finish issues....made a few boo boo's myself, nothing crazy though....but if you know zip about engines and parts and aren't mechanically inclined, this may not be for you...as far as the tranny goes...i was going to get the lentech valve body's for mine, i asked a local shop about installing it and they said they don't do any after market products...i guess it's about complaints if something goes wrong etc...i'm still going to pursue the lentech product....pm me if you want...good luck!

absoluteswed, where do you live? maybe we can hook up and talk about your install. i'm probably going to install the lentech valve bodies sometime this summer....anyway, any luck finding someone to do the install?

absolute, now when you say you're getting a lentech tranny, do you mean just the valve boddies? or are you getting a whole auto tranny from them supposed to hold like 400hp? isn't that like $5k or something? damn thats a lot

getting the terminator plus, got a 10% discount so thats pretty sweet, i live in Wellesly MA, like 20 min west of boston, i found out that the people at Unlimited Motor sports are turbo gods so im geting there to get my stuff installed. even tho is about 2 hours away. it ganna be expensive at s*** but i wanna run around 300 whp and wanna be safe with the plus. The regular termnator is good to 275 which is pretty close but dont want to risk it at all.

that's cool! where is unlimited located at? by the way, i drive by you every day...i work in watertown and waltham. we should hook up, let me know. did you consider any of the other kits on the board? MAM or Hiboost? they are in the 4000 range.

cant decide between the hiboost and the revised street sleeper MAM kit, probably going with the Hiboost since it is cheeper but, whats your view on it, i read that thread on the two and i just decide.

i of course am intimately familar with the mam kit. i almost bought the hiboost kit, but like what i saw with mam. i don't think you can go wrong with either on, honestly! i can say that Beau is great to work with and is always available to hlep you out.

Hey, how is it going with Unlimited Motorsports? I'm looking for references of good work, good people, and hopefully fair prices. Basically I'm looking into finding someone that is better able (I'm a menace to mechanical stuff) to bolt on the Hiboost kit for the Mazda3.

I wish there were a place closer to Boston, but if that's the only place I can find a good referal to, then I'd try to make the trip out.
