Turbo Inlet... Decisions Decisions

So I am debating... wait wait I meant I am going to buy a turbo inlet within the near future and am having some difficulty choosing which one to buy. So the three popular ones seem to be the Cp-e silicone turbo inlet, Cobb turbo inlet, and then the rpmc turbo inlet. Any input would be appreciated, but should I go for the rpmc inlet over Cobb or Cp-e and is it going to make any real difference?

If you don't already have an intake, you should consider the intake/turbo inlet pipe combo from corksport. I've had mine on for two days now I love it. Install of the inlet pipe is a total PITA though.

They are all better than stock. It was a nice breather mod. Look all the is BS jibber jabber back and forth. The difference in these inlets is material (which all are good) and price.
Performance differences +/- 2%

Flip a coin on the ones in your budget.

if you want your BOV and intake sucking noise to be loud and noticeable...go with the RPMC metal one...i use to have one and boy did that thing sound mean as hell

now I have the cp-e one...it works great...but it is on the quiet side....I personally don't mind the quiet sound it makes...the cobb sri i have already makes enough noise as is...

also the silicone is a plus for heat rejection...although i don't think it will make a big difference to the point where you will feel HP difference....

agreed...cp-e is not necessary for stock turbo....if you want just bolt ons, stick with the cobb its cheaper $165.....and also has clearance between the battery box and engine....cp-e huge 3 inch is pressed against my battery box because it needs to lose weight!

go with what you wanna spend the money for, CP-E made it 3 inch for a reason, and that was to match its intakes. you can say its not worth it but there hasen't been a dyno to prove, so until you have it on your car and compare you will never know.

CP-E cost more because it has things others dont, as in a mounting tab and the metal nipple instead of the plastic, along with having rolled edges on the metal inner couplers so the intake and inlet don't slide off from one another.

Just wanted to chime in on my Medieval TIP. Absolutely happy with the results, @$99. GB price spent for this piece it was a great deal... Again, I agree with go with what you want but, I think for the minor differences in manufacturing and marginal differences at best in performance, more $$$ in this case doesn't necessarily mean your getting a better performing piece for money the spent...

I already have the Cobb sri so naturally im going to stik with it and get the cobb turbo inlet. But i do agree with the guys up there. anything is better than our monstrosity of a air box.

I just ordered the Corksport SRI/Inlet combo. It's the best priced combo you'll get anywhere unless you buy something used. I'll have a Medieval Inlet for sale short as well.

The CPE tapers down to 2.5 inches where it mates to the stock turbo inlet. I haven't had any problems and I like the quality of CPE: includes stock mounting tab, metal vacuum nipple, and stronger metal sleeves that don't bend. I will agree it is a tight fit next to the battery. I had to bend the battery bracket hold down slightly to create extra clearance... not a big deal.
