Whats a good replacement for the stock turbo on stock motor (soon to be replaced cannot wait)?

Is the garrett t25 the way to go?

Yeah, another T25 on a stock motor is gonna be your best bet.

Would any other turbos fit like a K03 for the german 1.8L engines? I know it has to be a turbo that does not produce a lot of boost lol. I'm finding it difficult to locate a T25 anywhere. I'm going to try the local junkyard this weekend and hopefully I can pull something.

That will absolutely not fit, those two turbos are so different that you'd need a custom manifold and down pipe to make it work, which would be a waste of time and money since the T25 is a better turbo anyway.

And T25 is one of the most common turbos, you shouldn't have such a hard time with it... try Googling harder and check DSM and Nissan forums as well.
